Skipper Competition Winners
A huge thank you to everyone who entered the Skipper Competition! Along with the team at The Fabric Store, we've loved seeing your twist on this pattern and how you've made it your own.
We won't keep you waiting any longer though. Here are our favourites and the winners for each category:
Best Over All
Mama_kylie wowed us all with her square neckline hack featuring a triangular point in the centre. Unanimously our favourite across the board, both here at Papercut Patterns and with our friends at The Fabric Store. Impressive!
Best Deep-V Neckline Version
Annaverhage has us fawning over her deep-v Skipper with gathered skirt. We love this on-trend hack and might need to make several of our own to wear around the studio!
Best Square Neckline Version
Sewlovenz made this square neckline Skipper from a refashioned t-shirt, but incorporated the lace up neckline in the back 'just for kicks'. Very resourceful and creative to boot.
Best Lace Up Neckline Version
Winding_bobbin played with stripes for her linen lace up version and paired it with gold eyelets for the placket. It's fun, casual and fits her beautifully. Well done!
Special mention goes to Caros_Time for her shoulder cutout version. We loved this look too much to let her go without a prize, so there will be a couple of patterns heading your way too.
We'll be in touch with the winners through direct message on Instagram, so be sure to watch your inboxes.
Again, a huge thanks and congratulations to everyone who took the time to enter. The competition may be over, but the Skipper projects are not. Keep tagging your Skippers using #skippertunic to be included in our gallery photos at the bottom of our product page, so others can be inspired too.
